International Mahjong group meeting monthly in Bangkok for socializing and play.

This community group hosts International Mahjong sessions in Bangkok, typically held on the third Friday of each month from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. The event is part of a broader social network organized by the American Women's Club of Thailand, which welcomes any woman living in Thailand regardless of nationality. While the primary focus here is Mahjong, the group also facilitates other activities such as Pickleball on Tuesdays, Ladies Tennis on Thursdays, and an American-style Mahjong game on Fridays. Members enjoy participating in lunches, classes, and local outings, though most events are restricted to members only. Nonmembers are welcome to attend as guests of a member or can contact the AWC President directly for more information. The organization also actively engages in charitable work, specifically sponsoring scholarships for Thai high school girls across rural Thailand, with significant fundraising efforts underway for the upcoming academic year. For those interested in joining, the group provides a directory for members and an online platform for managing RSVPs and viewing the calendar, though registration details are primarily accessible to current members.
