Chicago TM Center offers certified Transcendental Meditation instruction in Chicago.

The Chicago TM Center provides authentic Transcendental Meditation instruction led by certified TM teachers, including Laurie Heilman (since 1973) and Ken Roseboro (since 2026). Located at the Civic Opera House, 20 N Wacker Dr., Floor 11, Workbox Suite 1178, Chicago IL 60606, the center offers two learning paths: an in-person option involving four consecutive two-hour sessions, or a hybrid model with one in-person session followed by remote practice. The TM technique is designed to increase mental clarity and creativity, reduce stress and anxiety (with research supporting its effectiveness for PTSD and ADHD), and improve sleep and overall health by facilitating deep rest. Learning requires personalized one-on-one instruction from certified teachers who maintain their credentials through ongoing training, ensuring the authentic method is taught correctly. The center emphasizes that the TM technique involves no concentration or control of the mind, allowing the active thinking mind to settle effortlessly into deep inner calm. As a non-profit organization, the center is committed to accessibility, offering income-based course fees that can be paid in installments, scholarships for first responders, veterans, and those in financial need, and continued support through certified teachers across the U.S. Additional resources include the TM app with videos and key takeaways, as well as online and in-person group meditations to help students stay consistent and connected to the global community. Contact the center at (312) 809-6009 or via message to book a course.
