The Chancel Choir in Honolulu welcomes musicians of all levels to sing together.

The Chancel Choir in Honolulu is a welcoming community music group that sings in the 9 AM Sunday service two to three times a month. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Musicians of all levels are welcome to join the ensemble. While regular weekly participation is encouraged, the choir also warmly welcomes seasonal singers who want to be part of the Advent or Easter season, participate in the annual Messiah rehearsal, or simply try out singing in a choir. Part of the music ministries at Central Union Church, the choir works with Director of Choirs Sarah Young and partners with Artistic Director Dr. Jace Kaholokula Saplan in chorus preparation for choral concert presentations by The Hawai'i Nui Chorale.
