EncoreKC! is a non-audition community choir for singers and musicians over 50 in Kansas City.

EncoreKC! is a rapidly growing non-audition community music group serving singers and musicians over the age of 50 in the Kansas City Metro Area. Since its first performance in 2019, the organization has offered diverse opportunities including choral singing, vocal ensembles, instrumental groups, and classes. Performances frequently feature guest conductors, composers, and professional instrumentalists. The group provides handicap-accessible rehearsal spaces and classrooms to support enthusiastic participants seeking socialization and musical growth. The EncoreKC! Foundation has made the program affordable at $50 per season through donations and grants, specifically targeting retirees and upcoming retirees. The flagship chorus averages about 80 members per 10-week season and performs a diverse repertoire of classical, Broadway, traditional, popular, and newly-published works. New groups are added each season, including Act II, Belle Voci, brass, woodwind, and ukulele ensembles. In addition to performances, the organization offers 10-week classes for members who wish to learn to read music or improve their existing skills. The group is led by trained music educators, conductors, accompanists, and performers who guide sectional rehearsals, performances, and classes.
