Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Fayette & Franklin Counties in Lexington.

Habitat for Humanity of Fayette & Franklin Counties invites community members to volunteer and help build hope, empowerment, homeownership, stability, and security for families in Lexington. Volunteers can get involved through several distinct opportunities, including working hands-on on a construction site where no prior experience or construction skills are needed as training and tools are provided. Individuals can also volunteer at the Lexington ReStore, which is a home improvement store and donation center whose proceeds support the mission of the organization. Tasks at the ReStore include sorting, organizing, pricing merchandise, assisting on the sales floor and donation dock, and helping with paint recycling. Additionally, workplaces, clubs, and churches can schedule group volunteer days on construction sites to support the community, encourage team building, and learn new skills. For further engagement, groups can also inquire about Homebuyer Sponsorship by contacting Ashley Moore. Anyone with questions, requiring accommodations for inclusivity, or wishing to reach out can contact the organization via email or phone.
