LATechies is a small tech social group in Los Angeles and Long Beach. (63 characters)

LATechies is a community group dedicated to helping tech professionals and curious individuals stop isolating behind their laptops and instead socialize in person. The group fosters genuine conversations that go beyond standard networking introductions by maintaining an intentionally small membership size to ensure meaningful interactions. Whether you are working in technology or simply interested in expanding your circle, LATechies offers a low-pressure environment filled with good energy and real connections. As part of the broader #LATechWeek initiative hosted by venture capitalists and startups, the group aims to bring together the local tech ecosystem. Currently, the group is experimenting with different venues to find the perfect location for their gatherings. The upcoming meeting is scheduled to take place at Watch Me! Sports Bar in Long Beach. For those experiencing difficulties locating the venue or wishing to stay updated on future events and discussions, members are encouraged to connect via the group's WhatsApp channel. Seats are limited, so subscribing to their calendar is essential to secure a spot and remain informed about upcoming gatherings without excessive communication.
