Salvation Army Westwood is a volunteer organization serving Los Angeles' Westside community.

Salvation Army Westwood is a local nonprofit that helps West Los Angeles residents during the holiday season by offering a range of volunteer and donation opportunities. As part of the Operation Santa Monica adopt‑a‑family program, the organization matches donors with families in need, providing wish‑lists so supporters can supply gifts, essential items, or grocery cards. Volunteers are welcomed to assist with sorting, packaging, and distributing donations, including food, clothing, toys, and hygiene supplies, for community partners such as food banks, shelters, and outreach teams. No prior experience is required, and participants can sign up for in‑person shifts or contribute online through monetary gifts or Amazon wishlists. By joining these efforts, volunteers help address food insecurity, housing instability, and other challenges faced by families across the Westside, strengthening the neighborhood and spreading holiday goodwill throughout December and beyond.
