Hasiru Dala Karnataka is an eco‑conscious waste‑management NGO in Mysore.

Hasiru Dala Karnataka, meaning "Green Force," is a pioneering eco‑conscious waste‑management organisation operating in Karnataka. Based in Mysore, it mobilises and empowers thousands of waste pickers across Mysore and Bangalore, improving city sanitation while uplifting the livelihoods of some of the most vulnerable urban workers. In 2026 the group runs eco‑friendly waste segregation programmes in more than 50 wards of Mysore and collaborates with urban‑forestry initiatives to create greener, healthier neighbourhoods. By linking environmental stewardship with social equity, Hasiru Dala demonstrates that sustainable waste handling can simultaneously protect the city’s cleanliness and provide dignified employment for waste‑picker communities.
