People's Education Society (PES) provides quality schooling to marginalized communities in Mysore.

Founded by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, People's Education Society has a long, impactful history in Karnataka's education landscape. PES runs educational institutions across Mysore that provide quality schooling to marginalized and first-generation learner communities. Their work genuinely helps boost access to higher education for those who need it most. In 2026, PES institutions across Karnataka serve students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Their model is transparent and aligned with India's national education goals. Several PES graduates have gone on to lead civic and social organizations across the state.
