The Branch of Nashville Older Adult Care Program in Nashville supports seniors with food, resources, and social events.
The Branch of Nashville Older Adult Care Program is dedicated to connecting vulnerable neighbors with resources that enhance their quality of life. We support older adults in our community through food assistance, resource navigation, and social engagement, cherishing their wisdom and helping them thrive as they age. Our food program delivers meals to up to 90 older adults each month; seniors aged 60 and older can pick up food on Wednesdays without an appointment, and we also offer food delivery to qualifying seniors and people with disabilities. Beyond food, we assist older adults in navigating complex systems like Social Security, Medicare, housing, utilities, medical care, and transportation. We foster community-building through social gatherings, one-on-one care partners, and Love Your Neighbor teams. The program relies heavily on its volunteer base, with 55% of core volunteers being older adults themselves. For specific needs, we connect clients with partners such as Interfaith Dental Clinic for the Smile On 65+ program, Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency for in-home health services, and Mid Cumberland Access for transportation assistance. If you are a senior or have an older family member needing support, contact our program manager or volunteer coordinator to learn more about our services.
