Clean the World: Turning hotel soap into hygiene kits in Orlando

Clean the World is an Orlando‑based volunteer organization that transforms leftover hotel soaps and toiletries into life‑saving hygiene kits. By recycling these amenities at its headquarters, the group keeps tons of waste out of landfills while providing essential soap, shampoo, and other personal care items to families around the globe who otherwise lack basic hygiene supplies. Young volunteers can join the warehouse crew from age eight to fifteen, always accompanied by a parent or guardian, while teens sixteen and older may volunteer independently. Typical shifts involve sorting and quality‑checking donated soap bars, separating plastic bottles, and packing finished kits for shipment. These hands‑on tasks not only teach children about sustainability and teamwork but also turn a couple of hours of service into cleaner hands and brighter futures worldwide. Clean the World’s mission is to combine environmental stewardship with global health, giving volunteers a tangible way to make a difference while supporting families in need.
