Second Harvest Food Bank provides meals and volunteer opportunities in Orlando.

Second Harvest Food Bank rescues and redistributes surplus groceries across Central Florida, supplying about 300,000 meals every single day through a network of pantries, schools, and community centers. Young volunteers can get involved by signing up for warehouse shifts that involve sorting donations, inspecting produce, or packing family meal boxes. Children ages 10 to 15 must serve alongside an adult chaperone, while teens 16 and up may volunteer independently. Additionally, special Family Day and Night sessions welcome children as young as five years old when accompanied by a parent, offering an accessible way for families to give back to their community.
