Chorus, a community choir in St. Louis.

The Chorus welcomes singers of all experience levels, from seasoned choir members to those who haven’t performed since a third‑grade talent show. Auditions are used to assess pitch retention, vocal range and part, and give the Artistic Director a chance to meet each applicant and hear their story. While auditions for the fall 2026 season are currently full, prospective members are encouraged to check back for future opportunities. Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m., and non‑refundable dues are required before each session to cover music, rehearsal and performance spaces, staff, orchestra, musicians for concerts, advertising and related costs. Participants are expected to have a black concert folder—or a tablet in a black case—and wear black concert attire. Within the Chorus, a 26‑voice Chamber Choir is formed from auditioned members of the full ensemble; it performs several times a year both on its own and alongside the larger group, with audition details shared internally. The Chorus looks forward to welcoming new voices to its community of singers.
