Volunteer as a tutor for the South Baltimore Adult High School in Baltimore.

Elev8 Baltimore operates the South Baltimore Adult High School as a pathway to high school completion for adults aged 21 and older to return to school and earn their diploma through an in-person and virtual self-paced learning program. Strategic tutoring is considered critical to ensuring students successfully complete and master academic content. Students who attend the program have a range of academic skills and history, including low literacy skills and a lack of confidence in core subject areas. Tutors work directly with students referred by the school staff to receive additional support. Tutoring sessions are offered online and in-person on a weekly basis. Volunteers can customize their tutoring schedules each semester. Those interested in supporting adult learners can fill out the application or reach out via email for more information to help participants achieve their educational goals.
