Pickleball club for women in Bangkok offering social activities and education scholarships.

The American Women's Club of Thailand (AWC) is a welcoming organization for any woman living in Thailand, regardless of nationality, dedicated to helping newcomers feel at home and fostering community among residents. Members enjoy a diverse range of activities including lunches, classes, and local outings, with weekly meet-and-greets, pickleball sessions on Tuesdays, ladies tennis on Thursdays, and mahjong games on Fridays and the third Friday of the month. While most events are reserved for members, nonmembers are invited to attend as guests of a member or contact the President for information. Beyond social engagement, AWC is deeply committed to education, specifically sponsoring Thai high school girls across rural Thailand through annual scholarships. The organization recently raised 2,160,000 baht to fund 360 students for the 2026-27 school year, aiming to provide them with a year of high school education. Donations can be made via credit card, PayPal, or Thai bank transfer to support this impactful cause. For further details, members can access the online directory and sign up for activities through AWC Online, while the Board and Committee members are available to answer specific questions or provide additional information about the club's offerings.
