Wicker Park Garden Club manages a 10,000 sq ft community garden in Chicago.

The Wicker Park Garden Club independently manages and finances the Wicker Park Community Garden, a 10,000 square foot space located within Chicago parks. Designed, funded, and maintained entirely by volunteers, the garden features sustainable and native plants that provide seasonal interest for park visitors while creating an environment rich for birds, beneficial insects, and pollinators. All community gardens in Chicago parks operate on this model of independent management and financing by their respective member groups. The Wicker Park Garden Club welcomes those interested in learning more about their volunteer-led project. For any inquiries regarding the garden, its features, or volunteer opportunities, interested parties are encouraged to contact the club directly at [email protected]. The garden stands as a testament to community stewardship and ecological design within the urban park system.
