A book club in Los Angeles promoting literature by South Asian authors and the diaspora.

The South Asian Book Club is a gathering dedicated to promoting literature written by South Asian authors, whether they are local to the region or part of the vast global diaspora. The group is organized and led by AJ Sohni. Meetings are held in person, typically on Saturday mornings, and are designed to be intimate and lively. The club maintains a small, close-knit atmosphere with meetings attended by no more than 10 to 15 participants. This limited size ensures that every member has ample opportunity to share their thoughts and perspectives during the discussion. The club focuses on fostering community through the exchange of ideas surrounding South Asian stories and themes.
