Green Yatra is a Mumbai community group focused on volunteering and environmental conservation.

Green Yatra is a community group based in Mumbai dedicated to volunteering and environmental conservation. The organization operates as an environmental NGO with a specific mission to plant 10 crore trees across India by 2025. This ambitious goal aims to provide metro cities with cleaner air, create habitats for fauna, empower farmers with new income sources, and rejuvenate degraded land. Scientific consensus supports the potential of tree planting to address the climate crisis, making Green Yatra's efforts a significant contribution to global environmental health. Members are encouraged to participate in hands-on activities that directly support these ecological objectives. To join the initiative and contribute to this vital cause, interested individuals are asked to fill out a dedicated volunteering form on the organization's website. Once submitted, Green Yatra will contact the volunteer to discuss specific opportunities and next steps. Through collective action, the group works to foster a sustainable future while empowering local communities and restoring natural ecosystems.
