Habitat Construction Volunteers in Nashville builds homes on weekends for those in need.

Habitat Construction Volunteers in Nashville invites individuals and groups to participate in building homes for people in need. Build days are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays and all weekends throughout the city and surrounding counties. No prior construction experience is required, as Habitat provides all necessary tools for every participant. The minimum age requirement is 16 years old; however, volunteers aged 16 and 17 must be chaperoned by an adult throughout the day. Youth volunteer involvement information is available upon request. Because build site opportunities are limited, Habitat will only contact potential volunteers when specific availability exists. All volunteers are encouraged to review the safety manual before participating. To join the volunteer email list and receive updates on upcoming build days, individuals can complete the build contact form. Please note that court-ordered community service opportunities are exclusively available through the ReStore volunteer program, not the construction build days.
