Wags and Walks Volunteers
Wags and Walks Volunteers in Nashville support dogs through adoption, transport, and care.
Wags and Walks Volunteers in Nashville are essential supporters dedicated to saving more dogs by connecting them with loving homes. We invite passionate individuals aged 18 and older to engage directly with our dogs at the Adoption Center, assisting with check-ins, merch sales, general cleaning, laundry, and fostering supply preparation. Shifts are available seven days a week, minus select holidays, and volunteers also participate in adoption events, private puppy parties, and ticketed activities to advocate for our pups. Those aged 21 and older with a valid driver's license can join the transport team to move dogs to vet visits or shelter pickups, while others on the Development Committee can organize peer-to-peer fundraisers, conduct grant research, and manage donor outreach. Wags Club volunteers provide hands-on care including dog walks, kennel cleaning, animal care support, and training or enrichment activities. Our mission relies on diverse skill sets and schedules, offering meaningful opportunities to help families experience the joy of raising a new pet. Whether you prefer administrative support, physical care, or fundraising, there is a role available to make a lasting impact on the lives of rescue dogs in the Nashville community.
