St. Paul's Cathedral Choir in Oklahoma offers youth and adult singing programs.
St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma proudly maintains four distinct choirs: The Cathedral Choir, The Cathedral Choristers, The Cherub Choir, and Schola Santorum. The Cathedral Choir, consisting of youth choristers, volunteers, and professional staff, sings weekly at the 9:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist and Choral Evensong from mid-August through late May. Rehearsals occur Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the choir room. The Cathedral Chorister program provides a holistic musical education for students in grades K through 12, emphasizing sight-reading, ear-training, and music theory alongside religious education and leadership training. Teen boys with changed voices are also welcome, and attendance is required twice weekly plus every Sunday. The Cherub Choir, for singers in grades K–2, meets weekly on Mondays to build skills and learn sacred music, with rehearsals starting September 21 from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m. in the Choir Suite. The Schola Cantorum, comprised of volunteer and professional singers, performs at the 11:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist, choral evensong, and choral compline, with rehearsals on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Membership is open to anyone regardless of faith affiliation, though the Schola Cantorum requires an audition. Interested individuals should contact Canon Musician Joseph Ripka to arrange meetings or auditions.
