Young Dance in Saint Paul transforms youth lives through inclusive movement and dance.

Since 1987, Young Dance in Saint Paul has encouraged youth in the community to build body and spirit through the art of dance with a mission to transform lives through movement. As an inclusive community where creativity flourishes, the organization encourages personal and artistic excellence through diverse forms of dance for all ages and abilities. Operating at its studios and beyond, Young Dance offers class programs and strategic partnerships with schools, libraries, and community organizations, serving over 1,500 individuals in a recent fiscal year. Programs include class options, the Young Dance Company, and the Camille “Cici” Blanchette Memorial Scholarship, which honors teens who want to explore artistic expression through dance. The community-focused organization celebrates its 40th anniversary while continuing to foster strong, self-aware young people through a foundation of respect and responsibility.
