The Khoibu Baptist Emmanuel Fellowship is a local choir group based in Delhi that actively participates in regional choral competitions, particularly those organized by the Tangkhul Christian Charitable Trust for the North East India. The group has represented its community in the 8th North East India Choral Competition, held at Thyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi, where it competed alongside other choirs from Northeast India including the Tangkhul Church Delhi, Poumai Baptist Church Delhi, and others. The competition, themed 'Togetherness,' aims to foster unity among diverse tribes and cultures while providing a platform for young people to showcase their musical talents. Judging criteria include intonation, tone, diction, expression, balance, and stage presentation, often featuring renowned international musicians as judges. While the group did not win a prize in the most recent event, where the Poumai Baptist Church Delhi took first place, the Fellowship continues to engage in such events to promote harmony and community coordination through music, aligning with the belief that music is about symphony, melody, and harmony. These programs offer opportunities for young generations to mingle and coordinate across different cultural backgrounds.
