The Kuki Christian Fellowship, based in Gurgaon, is a choir that participates in regional choral competitions organized by the Tangkhul Christian Charitable Trust. The group recently took part in the 8th North East India Choral Competition held at Thyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi, where it competed alongside other choirs from the Northeast region. The competition, themed 'Togetherness,' aimed to foster unity among diverse tribes and cultures through music. Judging criteria included intonation, tone, diction, expression, balance, and stage presentation, with renowned international musicians serving as judges. While the event saw winners such as the Poumai Baptist Church Delhi, Tangkhul Church Delhi, and Community Church Delhi, the Kuki Christian Fellowship represented its community among eight participating groups. The event provided a platform for young people to showcase their talents and coordinate across different cultural backgrounds, emphasizing that music brings communities together in harmony. The fellowship continues to engage in such initiatives to promote fellowship and cultural exchange within the Northeast communities residing in Delhi and the National Capital Region.
