El Paso Choral Society offers volunteer and professional choir opportunities in El Paso.

The El Paso Choral Society invites dedicated singers to join its returning volunteer Chorale and professional Chamber Choir, continuing a musical legacy spanning over 80 years. The volunteer Chorale seeks singers aged 18 and older for two productions: Handel's Messiah on November 8, 2026, and Amahl and the Night Visitors in January 2027. Both programs feature rehearsals at the El Paso Conservatory of Music and offer multiple audition opportunities for principal roles. Participants receive marked-up music and practice recordings upon signing up. For professional engagement, the 24-voice El Paso Chamber Choir offers compensated, project-based positions requiring strong musicianship and ensemble skills. Auditions for the Chamber Choir include solo selections, vocalization, sight-reading, and pitch memory testing. Interested individuals may contact Prentice Loftin, Conductor and General Director, via email at [email protected] or by phone/text at 915-346-7106, or submit a request through the provided form to learn about rehearsal schedules and audition arrangements.
