SINGS choir in El Paso for neuro diverse singers of all ages.
SINGS, Songs Including a New Generation of Singers, is a choir established by the El Paso Society for Musicians of the Future to provide choral opportunities for people with neuro diverse disabilities. Recognizing that choral singing offers vital benefits such as vocal cord exercise, breath control, and relaxation techniques, the group aims to educate and include neuro diverse individuals as future musicians. Each participant is accompanied by a chosen buddy, such as a parent, sibling, or caregiver, who joins the rehearsals. The group fosters a flexible environment with no strict seating arrangements, encouraging friends to sit together. The program consists of ten rehearsals per semester, culminating in an open rehearsal performed in front of an audience. The FALL 2026 season begins on September 18th at 6pm at Unity El Paso, located at 1420 Alabama St, El Paso, TX 79930. Interested individuals are invited to contact [email protected] to obtain a complete schedule of dates or further information regarding participation.
