Mumbai Mobile Creches (MMC) provides day care centers for children in construction sites and marginalized communities in Mumbai.

Mumbai Mobile Creches (MMC) is a volunteer-led initiative in Mumbai dedicated to ensuring the well-being of children working in construction sites and those living in marginalized communities. The group operates day care centers that offer holistic support to these vulnerable youth. MMC serves as a beacon of hope for Mumbai's future generation by providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can rest, learn, and develop essential skills away from the hardships of their daily labor. The organization is led by Ms. Hemangi, who coordinates efforts to expand access to quality childcare across the city. By joining MMC, volunteers become active participants in social change, contributing to a movement that empowers underprivileged children and fosters their long-term development. This work represents a commitment to social justice and community upliftment, allowing dedicated individuals to make a tangible difference in the lives of Mumbai's most vulnerable children while experiencing personal growth and cultural immersion within the city's vibrant landscape.
