PMI Mumbai Chapter volunteers support project management, youth, and social good locally.

The PMI Mumbai Chapter is a dedicated volunteer community rooted in the project management profession, committed to the core value of 'Together We Can.' Members actively contribute to both local and global project management communities through a diverse range of opportunities, from leading committees and supporting standards development to serving as award evaluators and exam writers. The chapter places a strong emphasis on social impact through its 'Hours for Impact' initiative, which aligns efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to better people's lives and the planet. Recent activities include conducting career counseling sessions for students at the Asha NGO following their 10th and 12th grade results, and organizing a summer camp where volunteers taught livelihood skills such as bath soap making and chocolate marking to children. Additionally, the chapter executed a clothes donation initiative to support children at the Asha NGO, using donated items to create sustainable shopping bags and reduce fashion pollution. By engaging in these flexible, supportive, and impactful projects, volunteers gain leadership experience while inspiring youth and fostering professional connections within the region.
