Center for Children and Families, Inc (CCFI) in Oklahoma is dedicated to helping parents become the best first teachers for their children and preparing children for a successful future. The organization provides academic, fitness, and leadership programs, along with therapy and case management focused on preventing repeat occurrences of abuse and neglect for children. CCFI relies heavily on volunteers to support its mission, offering various opportunities such as mentoring members of the Boys & Girls Club of Norman, packing diapers in the Baby Pantry, cleaning and maintaining the facility, and assisting with the Holiday Wishes gifting program. While youth under age 18 may volunteer in special circumstances with direct adult supervision, all participants must be 18 or older to volunteer in direct services with clients. CCFI does not provide volunteer opportunities for court-ordered community service. Volunteers are critical to the success of the agency, as their year-round support allows CCFI to provide exceptional services to children and families in the community.
