Crossroads Youth & Family Services
Crossroads Youth & Family Services in Oklahoma offers volunteering for youth services and family programs.
Crossroads Youth & Family Services in Oklahoma is committed to serving the youth and families of the community through a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Our volunteers play a critical role in supporting our Youth Services division, where they work directly with residents of Emergency Youth Shelters, mentoring individuals, and collaborating closely with counseling staff. Additionally, for our Head Start and Early Head Start Services, volunteers assist classroom teachers with various tasks including decorating classrooms, performing maintenance, and completing special projects. Specific volunteer roles include mentoring shelter residents, supervising outings, teaching workshops to shelter residents, reading to small children, and participating in landscaping and gardening efforts. Volunteers also help create bulletin boards and assist with basic classroom needs to ensure our early childhood programs run smoothly. To become a volunteer, individuals must be over 18 years of age and have no criminal background. Furthermore, all volunteers are required to pass a drug test. For more information or to arrange volunteer shifts, please contact Ashley Araujo at [email protected] or call 405-292-6440, extension 360. We welcome anyone passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth and families in our region.
