Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) Twin Cities

Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) Twin Cities connects experienced adults with nonprofits in Saint Paul.

The Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) Twin Cities connects experienced adults over 50 with nonprofit organizations throughout the Twin Cities metro area that need time, talents, and heart. Ideal for the recently retired, those working part-time, or anyone in a new season of life, IVC helps participants find purpose through service by committing one or two days per week. Members serve with nonprofit partner agencies supporting mission-critical work in areas such as education and tutoring, healthcare, housing and homelessness prevention, immigration and refugee support, senior companionship, and food access and nutrition services. Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, the program combines meaningful service with monthly reflection gatherings, prayer, and the option of one-on-one spiritual support. Through a thoughtful matching process, IVC ensures placements align with volunteers' skills, passions, and values while providing dependable consistency for partner organizations. By bringing a lifetime of professional and personal experience to their roles, corps members strengthen local nonprofits, deepen their spiritual lives, and build a welcoming community with others who share their values.
