Little Sisters of the Poor Volunteer Program
Volunteer with the Little Sisters of the Poor to support elderly residents in Saint Paul.
The Little Sisters of the Poor Volunteer Program in Saint Paul offers meaningful opportunities for individuals of various backgrounds, including high school youth and young adults, to make a lasting impact on the lives of roughly one hundred elderly residents. Volunteers assist with serving meals, participating in calendar events, providing musical or theatrical entertainment, taking strolls in the garden, maintaining the backyard, and sharing in the spiritual life of the Holy Family Residence through Mass and the Rosary. Additionally, adult Catholic lay men and women can participate in the Association Jeanne Jugan to deepen their spiritual commitment through monthly meetings, prayer, spending quality time with residents, driving them to appointments, and offering a comforting presence. Through these diverse activities, participants enrich their own lives while sharing their time, talents, and youthful enthusiasm with the resident elders. Interested individuals can reach out to coordinate involvement and get connected with the mission and spirit of the community.
